PROJECT BACKGROUND

Franciscan Health Crawfordsville Hospital is a103-bed facility that offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, 24/7 emergency care, and the Marie Canine Cancer Center to residents in Montgomery County, Indiana.

CHALLENGE

Franciscan Health Crawfordsville Hospital’s existing VCT flooring (17,000+ SF) was old and tired from wear and tear. The main focus was the cafeteria and most of the corridors due to the heavy traffic they encountered. The primary goal was to minimize the downtime and disruption of the facility during the installation.

OUTCOME

The combination of no demolition, very little floor prep, and the use of SetaGrip resulted in the installation being completed 2 weeks faster than a traditional LVT installation. Because there was no dust or odors created from demolition and the use of adhesives, the installation was completed without barricading the areas or using expensive negative air return equipment. Thus, the use of SetaGrip saved FranciscanHealth Crawfordsville Hospital a significant amount of time and money.
