Overview
OneFlor USA is pleased to announce optimized performance standards for our patented SetaGrip micro-suction technology. Current production is engineered to deliver an aggressive, high-tack bond profile the moment the plank is placed, ensuring immediate lateral stability and security for high- raffic commercial environments.
The SetaGrip Advantage
By mimicking the microscopic setae of a gecko’s foot, SetaGrip creates a powerful vacuum bond to flat, properly prepared surfaces. Our latest optimizations provide a “positive grab” that rivals traditional wet-set adhesives while maintaining the speed, health benefits, and replaceability of an adhesive-free system.
Approved Installation System (Substrates & Preparation)
Approved Patch & SLU
Schonox SL Substrates must be properly cured, flat, clean, and completely free of dust or debris prior to installation.
Concrete Substrates
Concrete Moisture Protocol (RH)
- Bare concrete ≤ 80% RH: Approved provided the surface is free of dust, flat, and clean.
- Concrete > 80% RH: Apply one (1) coat of Wakol PU280, then sand and ensure the surface is flat; install SetaGrip directly over.
- High moisture / moisture barrier required: Apply two (2) coats of Wakol
PU280 per manufacturer instructions to create a 100% RH moisture barrier prior to installing SetaGrip.
Always follow Wakol PU280 instructions for application, cure, sanding, and recoat windows.

Internal peel strength testing (Nov 2025) demonstrates the significant bond improvement in current production SetaGrip technology on approved substrates.
